NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that today’s Russian attack on Ukrainian regions is one of the most powerful during the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said this during a press conference in Kyiv.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rutte stressed that he was not sure that this was the largest strike, but it was one of the two or three most powerful in terms of the number of ballistic missiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is exactly what happens during the winter. -25 degrees here in Kyiv,\u201d he noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the attack will affect heating, electricity, and water supplies \u2014 in general, the lives of civilians.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not about military targets, it is simply creating chaos for innocent civilians, attacks on civilian infrastructure,\u201d the NATO Secretary General is convinced.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is worth noting that Russia has dealt the most powerful blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure<\/a> since the beginning of 2026. Electricity generation and distribution facilities were under attack.<\/p>\n

Recall that during the night attack , Russian troops fired 71 missiles and 450 strike drones into Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Earlier, the president announced that the Ukrainian negotiating team would adjust its work against the backdrop of a massive Russian missile and drone attack<\/a> on a number of regions.<\/p>\n
