French President Emmanuel Macron said that preparations for his possible dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin are continuing at a technical level. At the same time, the French leader does not see any real readiness on the part of Moscow for peace talks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> Le Monde.<\/p>\n

Macron noted that discussions are taking place at a technical level, and stressed the importance of European countries restoring their own channels of communication.<\/p>\n

In December, the French president said that a new conversation with Putin could be useful. According to him, any dialogue should take place transparently and in constant coordination with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

“This is being prepared, and therefore the discussions are taking place at a technical level. It is important that Europeans actually restore their own channels of communication,” Macron stressed.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, US President Donald Trump on February 3 announced possible positive developments in the settlement of Russia’s war against Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and the Russian Federation is possible only in Moscow.<\/a> <\/p>\n
