Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal said that power outage schedules may soon worsen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> in Telegram.<\/span><\/p>\n

The situation in the energy system remains difficult. According to Shmyhal, this is due to the latest attacks by the enemy and a significant generation deficit.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the Russians are preparing for new attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in the coming week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, work is underway to restore energy facilities across the country, with more than 230 teams working in Kyiv alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Also, 40 repair crews from Naftogaz have already been involved. But local authorities must give people a clear understanding of where and when the heat supply will be restored. In houses where the restoration of heat supply is impossible in the near future, electricity must be available for at least 18 hours a day,” the minister emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

Separately, he noted that more than 30 countries are helping Ukraine get through the winter by providing assistance, including energy equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

As is known, since the beginning of 2026 alone , Russia has carried out 217 attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector<\/a> .<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that on February 3 , Russia struck the most powerful blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure<\/a> since the beginning of 2026. Electricity generation and distribution facilities came under attack.<\/p>\n
