President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that ending hostilities remains Ukraine’s top priority and expressed hope that peace can be achieved within the next year through active diplomacy and negotiations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He stated<\/a> this in an interview with France 2 TV channel.<\/p>\n

According to Zelensky, his team is already involved in the negotiation process, and ending the war is a key task for both him personally and the entire country.<\/p>\n

The President emphasized that Russia is attempting to issue its own ultimatums, ostensibly seeking a compromise, while simultaneously continuing attacks on civilians and using cold shoulders as a means of pressure. He emphasized that the more civilians Russia kills, the less realistic any agreements become.<\/p>\n

Zelenskyy emphasized that the diplomatic path does not mean capitulation or acceptance of Russian demands. He stated that even fixing the frontline at its current positions was a significant concession on Ukraine’s part, but he remains open to dialogue to preserve the state’s independence and sovereignty.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Ukrainian delegation arrived in Abu Dhabi<\/a> yesterday for further talks with Russia and the United States.<\/p>\n
