The Poroshenko Foundation and Kyiv City Council deputies from the European Solidarity faction are donating 700 gas burners to residents of the capital.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Petro Poroshenko noted on social media<\/a> , this is already the second batch of equipment; the first 300 burners have been delivered to the capital’s districts most affected by the energy disaster, where there is no electricity or gas. <\/p>\n

“The first batch was immediately distributed among Kyiv residents who don’t have gas stoves in their homes. A gas stove is a way to warm your hands, heat food, and heat water. And this support is not only for Kyiv residents, but also for rescuers, electricians, power engineers, and utility workers working at the very limits of human capabilities, dealing with the aftermath of shelling in -20\u00b0C, without rest or warmth. On days like these, it’s especially important to stick together,” Petro Poroshenko emphasizes. <\/p>\n

“This brutal winter has been the harshest since the Maidan, a true test for each of us. Insidious enemy shelling and prolonged power, heat, and water outages have forced the capital to live in constant stress,” explains Volodymyr Prokopov, head of the EU faction in the Kyiv City Council. <\/p>\n

“That’s why our team, together with the Poroshenko Foundation, continues to provide support to those who need it,” says MP Dinara Gabibullaeva. <\/p>\n

Deputy Taras Krivoruchko noted that the gas burners have also proven useful for utility services, which are working non-stop to deal with the aftermath of enemy attacks, and some of the equipment will be donated to repair units. <\/p>\n

Member of Parliament Lyudmila Kovalevskaya adds: “For the European Solidarity team, helping and protecting is not a slogan. We are always there for people in the most difficult times.” <\/p>\n

As is known, mobile drop-off points have also been set up in several districts of the capital, where people can wash and dry clothes, charge their electronic devices, and drink hot tea. Currently, the points are operating in the Holosiivskyi district (10 Vasyl Kasiyana Street), as well as in Desnyanskyi district at 23 Miloslavskaya Street and 63 Krasnoy Kaliny Avenue.<\/strong><\/p>\n
