Ukraine has imposed a new package of sanctions against companies supplying Russia with critical foreign components and helping it establish missile and drone production in circumvention of international restrictions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The corresponding decision was signed<\/a> by Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

The head of state also approved a decree imposing sanctions against representatives of the Russian financial sector. The list includes companies that facilitate payments for the supply of components for the production of Russian missiles and drones.<\/p>\n

Separate restrictions have been imposed on entities supporting the Russian cryptocurrency market and mining. Some of these measures are expected to be included in the European Union’s 20th sanctions package, which is currently in the final stages of approval.<\/p>\n

“We continue to synchronize with our partners and increase pressure on the aggressor. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine,” Zelenskyy noted.<\/p>\n

Ukraine previously imposed new sanctions against Russia.<\/a> The restrictions targeted the Russian Paralympic Committee, the Russian Esports Federation, and a number of individuals.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the European Union recently imposed personal sanctions against several prominent Russian propagandists<\/a> . These are TV presenters and journalists who systematically support Russia’s war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n
