Since the start of February 8, 123 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The enemy’s greatest activity was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian troops made 39 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported<\/a> this as of 16:00.<\/p>\n

Situation in the main directions<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy made three offensive attempts and launched 21 attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian units.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of Vovchansk, Staritsa, Prilepka, and towards Figolovka. One combat engagement is ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops are attempting to advance toward Kupyansk, Podoliv, Petrovpavlovka, Peschanoye, Novoosinovoye, Novaya Kruglyakovka, and Novoplatonovka. A total of 13 combat clashes have occurred, three of which are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Liman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 15 attacks in the areas of Drobyshevoye, Sredne, Zarechnoye, and in the direction of Druzhelyubovka, Stavky, Sheykovka, and Liman. Six combat encounters are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Slavic direction.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attempted to advance in the Orekhovo-Vasilovka area.<\/p>\n

In the Konstantinovka direction, the enemy launched 22 attacks near Pleshcheyeivka, Rusiny Yar, and in the direction of Konstantinovka, Ivanopol, Ilyinovka, Nikolaipolye, Stepanovka, and Sofiyivka. Three clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops have launched 39 attacks since the start of the day in the areas of Rodinskoye, Pokrovsk, Kotlinoye, Udachny, Molodetskoye, and Muravka, as well as in the direction of Toretsky, Kucherovy Yar, Belitskoye, Shevchenko, Novoaleksandrovka, Sergeyevka, Novopodgorodny, Novopavlovka, and Ivanovka. Defense forces have already repelled 31 attacks and are holding back the enemy advance.<\/p>\n

In the Aleksandrovsk direction, the aggressor launched four attacks in the areas of Tolstoy, Poddubny, and toward Ivanovka. Kolomiytsy suffered a guided-bomb airstrike. One clash continues.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyai-Polye sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks in the areas of Sladke, Rivnepillia, and Dorozhnianka. Russian aircraft also struck Zelena Dibrova, Barvinovka, Nezhenka, Lyubitske, Vozdvizhovka, and Kopani. Four clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Orekhov direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the defense forces in the Kamenskoye area three times.<\/p>\n

No enemy offensive actions have been detected in the Dnieper direction.<\/p>\n

In other areas, there have been no significant changes in the situation.<\/p>\n
