Today, February 9, consumers in three regions \u2014 Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv \u2014 were left without electricity due to enemy attacks and hostilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by the Ministry of Energy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Emergency restoration work is currently underway at energy facilities. Energy workers are also working to eliminate the consequences of two massive Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy system last week.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEnergy specialists are doing everything possible to restore equipment damaged by the enemy. Restoration is ongoing both at power plants and at high-voltage substations that provide power output to nuclear power plants,\u201d said Deputy Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, as of now, nuclear generation is still partially unloaded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, hourly power cuts for residential consumers and power restrictions for industry are in effect throughout Ukraine, and in some places, emergency power outages are in effect.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of February 9 , Russian occupation troops attacked an energy facility near Novovolynsk,<\/a> Volyn region, resulting in a significant number of consumers being cut off from power.<\/p>\n
