In Kyiv, the heat supply has been restored in the Troyeschyna district, but it will take time for houses to fully warm up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Alena Shkrum.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to her, she visited Troyeschyna together with the Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine, Katarina Maternova, and checked the heat situation on site.
“We saw the main thing: the heat supply in Troyeschyna has been restored,” Shkrum noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, she emphasized that even after the heat supply is restored, buildings need time to warm up. In some cases, this can take several days.<\/p>\n

In parallel, utility services continue to work on defrosting individual risers and eliminating local accidents in residential buildings and public sector institutions.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Ministry of Development notes that the overall situation with heat supply in the capital remains difficult. As of the morning of February 8, 1,126 houses in the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts were left without heat. The reason was the shutdown of CHP-4 after Russian shelling.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Emergency crews are currently working to repair 287 damages in residential buildings and budget facilities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that more than 1,400 apartment buildings in Kyiv remain without heating, and 40,000 heat packages will be distributed to residents.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We remind you that the Ministry of Energy held a regular meeting of the Headquarters for the Elimination of Consequences of Emergency Situations in Kyiv and the region. The situation remains most difficult in the area powered by CHP-4.<\/a> <\/p>\n
