Igor Mazepa, the founder of a Ukrainian investment company, was in a traffic accident on his way to Kyiv.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This happened the night before in the Zvyahelsky district of the Zhytomyr region.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOn February 9, while returning to Kyiv, I got into an accident on the Zhytomyr highway with the participation of a third party,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

The businessman stressed that he was not tired, did not use substances prohibited for drivers, and did not violate traffic rules. Law enforcement agencies<\/span> confirmed<\/span><\/a> that he was sober.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to preliminary information from the Zhytomyr region police, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz car hit a pedestrian who was crossing the road on an unlit section of the road.<\/span><\/p>\n

The victim died on the way to the hospital due to injuries sustained in the accident.<\/span><\/p>\n
