Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladyvlav Geraskevych went out to train on the Olympic track wearing a \u201cmemory helmet\u201d with images of athletes who died during the war with Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> “Public Sport”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Geraskevych did this despite the ban of the International Olympic Committee, which allowed the dead to be honored in another way.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the International Olympic Committee has banned skeleton athlete Vladislav Geraskevych from competing at the Olympic Games in a helmet with the image of Ukrainian athletes<\/a> who died as a result of the full-scale Russian invasion.<\/p>\n

As is known, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine has asked the International Olympic Committee<\/a> to allow Vladyslav Geraskevych to compete at the 2026 Olympics in a special “memory helmet.”<\/p>\n

The International Olympic Committee later suggested that the skeleton athlete use a black armband<\/a> as a symbol of mourning.<\/p>\n
