In February, combat brigades received additional funding for the purchase of drones and electronic warfare equipment – the total amount exceeds 4.5 billion hryvnias.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

The funds have already been credited to the brigades’ accounts in their personal accounts in the DOT-Chain Defence system. Units can immediately place orders for the necessary items without additional approvals.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

DOT-Chain Defence operates on the principle of a marketplace. The military independently selects drones, weapons and electronic warfare equipment according to their needs on the front. Currently, the platform offers more than 470 models of equipment from 135 manufacturers.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense noted that in six months, about 350 thousand units of equipment with a total value of over 16 billion hryvnias have already been delivered through the system.<\/span><\/p>\n

As previously reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a modern Spanish-made Lanza LTR-25 tactical early detection radar, which significantly enhances air defense capabilities.<\/a><\/p>\n

Recall that Belgium plans to transfer F-16 combat aircraft to Ukraine only after it receives and puts its own F-35 fighters into operation.<\/a> <\/p>\n
