In Kyiv, police officers have detained a man who detonated a grenade in an apartment. The incident left one person dead and two others injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the press service of the Kyiv police.<\/p>\n

The tragedy occurred at around 2:00 a.m. in the Obolon district of the capital.<\/p>\n

It is noted that a 29-year-old serviceman stationed in the North-West Frontier Province came to visit his friend, where he and his company drank alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n

During the conflict, a man detonated an F-1 grenade in the kitchen, as a result of which the 45-year-old owner of the house died at the scene, and another guest, a 36-year-old local resident, was hospitalized with injuries to his body.<\/p>\n

During the search, patrol police officers and investigators detained the offender. He received shrapnel wounds to his leg and is currently under the supervision of doctors and law enforcement officers.<\/p>\n

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 5, Part 2, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional murder committed in a manner dangerous to the lives of many persons.<\/p>\n

As reported, at noon on February 9 , a grenade detonated in a car in the city of Shakhtarske, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.<\/a><\/p>\n
