The United States of America has declared its readiness to ratify the security guarantees in the US Congress.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga received such information from the United States, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/span> reports<\/span><\/a> .<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the head of the department, the draft bilateral security guarantees is almost ready.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sybiga explained that for the first time in the history of Ukraine, we are talking about legally binding guarantees, not assurances.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe second key element of the security architecture is a military presence with an American backstop. Without the role of the United States, an effective security system in Europe is impossible,\u201d he emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zelenskyy previously stated that the document on security guarantees for Ukraine is fully prepared<\/a> . Kyiv is currently awaiting a signal from the United States regarding the place and date of its signing.<\/p>\n

Recall that security guarantees from the United States for Ukraine may depend on Kyiv’s readiness to withdraw troops<\/a> from the unoccupied areas of Donbas.<\/p>\n

It is known that in future security agreements, the European continent is considered the main financial sponsor of the maintenance of the Ukrainian army, while the United States remains a key element of the defense architecture due to its nuclear potential<\/a> .<\/p>\n
