The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has introduced a draft law that provides for fines for taxi drivers for picking up passengers from the curb and other violations of transportation rules. The document establishes different levels of administrative liability depending on the type of violation, which should contribute to the legalization of the market and increase the safety of passenger transportation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The draft law “On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses Regarding the Transportation of Passengers by Taxi or Passenger Cars on Order” was published on February 13, 2026.<\/p>\n

It is noted that its purpose is to regulate the implementation of legislative norms in the field of passenger transportation and establish administrative liability for violations.<\/p>\n
