The operation took place after tracking the vessel&#8217;s route from the Caribbean region to the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n<p> The statement notes that the ship was attempting to circumvent quarantine restrictions imposed by President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We tracked the vessel from the Caribbean region to the Indian Ocean, closed the distance and stopped it,&#8221; the department added.<\/p>\n<p> The American side emphasized that international waters cannot be used as a safe space for illegal activities. The department stated its readiness to carry out similar operations in the maritime sphere.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;International waters are not a haven.
