Why do Western air defense systems not always cope with new challenges and how many Patriot missiles does the Armed Forces of Ukraine actually need each month to close the sky?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> On the air of the &#8220;Pryamiy&#8221; TV channel, military-political observer of the &#8220;Information Resistance&#8221; group Oleksandr Kovalenko <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wIPA5icxU0E\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">analyzed<\/a> the difficult situation with the protection of Ukrainian skies from massive attacks.<\/p>\n<p> He noted that the aggressor has significantly increased the pace of production of weapons, while Western powers are not keeping up with defense needs.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;On average, it takes two to three missiles to intercept one ballistic missile. The Russian military-industrial complex is now capable of producing up to three finished units of products per day, the columnist added.<\/p>\n<p> According to him, this became possible due to the active use of smuggled Western microcircuits and semiconductors. At the same time, the Patriot and SAMP\/T systems remain the only means capable of countering such threats, but the number of missiles for them is limited, &#8211; emphasizes Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political observer of the Information Resistance group.<\/p>\n<p> We will remind, in early February, the head of the communications department of the Air Force Command, Yuriy Igrat, stated that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/deiaki-kompleksy-stoiat-porozhni-ukraini-brakuie-raket-dlia-system-ppo\/\">Ukraine does not have enough missiles for air defense systems<\/a> , so sometimes some complexes are empty.<\/p>\n<p> Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/nimechchyna-ne-zmozhe-dodatkovo-postachaty-ppo-ukraini-zaiava-pistoriusa\/\">Germany has almost exhausted its capabilities<\/a> to support Ukraine&#8217;s air defense.
