On the night of February 16, Russian troops launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using six different types of missiles and 62 attack drones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported<\/u><\/a> this.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

From 6:00 PM on February 15 until the morning of the 16th, the infidels launched four Zircon anti-ship missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea, an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, and a Kh-31P guided air-to-air missile from a TOT in the Zaporizhzhia region.<\/p>\n

The enemy also used 62 Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas attack UAVs, as well as other types. The launches were carried out in the areas of Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation, as well as from Gvardeyskoye in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 40 of these were Shahed kamikaze drones.<\/p>\n

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.<\/p>\n

As of 9:00 AM, air defense forces had shot down or suppressed two Zircon missiles and 52 drones. One missile and nine attack drones were recorded hitting eight locations, as well as debris from downed targets falling at two locations. Information on three more missiles is being clarified.<\/p>\n
