Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to operate actively in the Donetsk region in the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration area.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by the Group of Forces “East”.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noted that Ukrainian military personnel are holding positions in the north of Pokrovsk. They are conducting search and assault operations there, as well as eliminating the enemy in urban areas and inflicting fire damage on enemy units that are accumulating in the southern areas of the settlement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, fighting is ongoing in some areas in the northern part of the city.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in Myrnograd, Russian units are trying to accumulate heavy equipment and personnel for an assault and increase pressure on the northern part of the city. Despite this, as noted in the group, the Defense Forces are holding the designated defensive lines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukrainian defense forces, thanks to joint actions of aerial reconnaissance and strike units, detect and neutralize the occupiers, preventing them from advancing in depth with armored vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n

“To deter the enemy, the necessary forces and means are being deployed, and fire is being inflicted on the places of concentration and logistics of the occupiers. Search and strike operations by our units in Myrnograd and its surroundings are also ongoing. The enemy continues to use the tactics of small infantry groups, which is critically depleting the human resources of the Russians,” the press service explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the group commented on the situation near Novomykolaivka, calling it complex and dynamic.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to perform assigned combat missions, hold important lines and carry out measures to deter the enemy. The situation is under control, the enemy’s attempts to advance are timely revealed as reconnaissance, systematic combat work is inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment,” the message says.<\/span><\/p>\n

As is known, the Russian occupation forces have had some successes in the Pokrovskoye direction<\/a> , where they captured a village and advanced into three cities.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Russian army is actively deploying its infantrymen to the northern areas of Pokrovsk<\/a> – the situation in the city is becoming increasingly worse.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that Russian troops are intensifying attempts to break through the defense of Ukrainian units in the Pokrov direction<\/a> in the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n
