Former Energy Minister German Galushchenko<\/span><\/span> stated during a court hearing that part of the funds for his son’s education in Switzerland was paid by the child’s godfather.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Galushchenko, some funds also came from companies as profits from joint ventures. When asked about the possible size of the payments, specifically $200,000 per year, he confirmed that the godfather made contributions but declined to comment on specific amounts.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the former minister stated that he does not intend to reveal the identity of his son’s godfather.<\/p>\n

“I won’t say anything; it’s not helpful. I have a lot of godparents, I have a lot of children. They’re all rich,” Galushchenko said in court.<\/p>\n
