Russia continues to receive German electronic components for the production of drones and missiles despite the sanctions imposed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> Deutsche Welle with reference to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the GUR, one Shahed\/Geran drone can contain from 8 to 12 transistors manufactured by Infineon Technologies. If the Russian Federation implements its plan to produce up to 40,000 combat drones per year, it may need up to 500,000 such transistors each year.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Intelligence reports indicate that Germany remains under close surveillance by Russian intelligence services. Moscow uses old connections, influence peddlers, and lobbyists in business and politics to organize the supply of prohibited goods.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the GUR, Russia creates shell companies and builds complex logistics routes through third countries. This scheme allows it to obtain high-tech components used in the production of weapons.<\/p>\n

The intelligence community emphasizes that European partners should strengthen export controls and coordination to more quickly detect and block such sanctions circumvention schemes.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russian troops first used a Shahed drone equipped with a man-portable anti-aircraft missile system (MANPADS).<\/a><\/p>\n

Recall that Russia is modernizing its strike drones and switching to jet versions of the Shahed, which is a direct challenge to air defense.<\/a> <\/p>\n
