The Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area of responsibility of the Group of Forces “East” continue to restrain the Russian offensive. Over the past day, the Ukrainian military has repelled 48 assaults.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is stated<\/a> in the summary of the Group of Forces “East” regarding the situation in the area of responsibility as of February 18.<\/p>\n

The hottest is in the Pokrovsk direction. In the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration area, 21 attacks were stopped near Rodynske, Kotlyne, Filia, as well as in the direction of Novoaleksandrivka and Novopidhorodne. The Russians are trying to capture Pokrovsk and Myrnograd, have increased pressure from Kotlyne and Rodynske, and are operating in small assault groups. Ukrainian units are conducting aerial reconnaissance, mining probable routes of advance, and destroying enemy groups on the approaches.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk direction, 10 attacks were repelled, in the Kramatorsk direction – three, and in the Kostyantynivs’k direction – 14.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary estimates, in the Pokrovsky direction alone, nine vehicles, 24 pieces of special equipment, two UAV control points, an ammunition depot, two artillery systems, and nine enemy personnel shelters were destroyed in a day.<\/p>\n

In total, 274 occupiers were eliminated in the area of responsibility of the “East” military unit during the day. 1,647 drones of various types and 101 pieces of weapons and equipment were destroyed. 30 control points of Russian drones were hit separately.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian military continues to undermine the enemy’s offensive potential and inflict significant losses on it.<\/p>\n

As reported, Russian occupation forces are having some success in the Pokrov direction<\/a> in the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n
