On the night of February 22, Russian troops launched attacks on Ukrainian territory using drones and missiles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Consequences of the attack on Kyiv and the region<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko<\/span><\/span> reported that two injured people, a woman and a child, were taken to hospitals from a Kyiv suburb. According to preliminary reports, debris fell in a private residence.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration,<\/span><\/span> Timur Tkachenko,<\/span><\/span> initially reported a fire on the roof of a multi-story building in the Svyatoshinsky district, but the Kyiv City Military Administration later clarified that the information about damage to the building was not confirmed.<\/p>\n

Mykola Kalashnik,<\/span><\/span> Chairman of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration,<\/span><\/span> reported that a 49-year-old man died in the Fastiv district. Five private homes were damaged. Eight people, including a child, were rescued from the rubble. Overall, damage was reported in five districts of the Kyiv region.<\/p>\n

A private home in the Boryspil district was damaged, and a woman was injured by broken glass. A fire also broke out in a farm building.<\/p>\n

In the Brovarsky district, 10 premises in a garage cooperative were damaged.<\/p>\n

In the Bucha district, two private houses and a car were damaged.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Damage to warehouses and a private home was reported in the Obukhovsky District. Emergency services are working on the ground.<\/p>\n

Strikes in the south and east<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Oleg Kiper,<\/span><\/span> head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration,<\/span><\/span> reported a massive drone attack on energy infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region. The strikes caused large-scale fires, which rescuers have already extinguished. There were no casualties or injuries.<\/p>\n

Vitaly Kim,<\/span><\/span> head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration<\/span><\/span> , noted that the Mykolaiv energy infrastructure was damaged by the “shahid” attack. Approximately 16,000 customers were left without power. There were no casualties.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In Kharkiv, a Molniya drone was detected hitting high-rise buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district on the evening of February 21. Mayor Ihor Terekhov<\/span><\/span> reported this. There were no reports of casualties, and the consequences are being investigated. <\/p>\n
