On the night of February 22, Russian military launched a missile strike on the American Mondelez International<\/span><\/span> factory in Trostyanets, Sumy Oblast, where chocolate, cookies, and coffee are made.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha<\/span><\/span> .<\/p>\n

According to him, the missile hit one of the production buildings. There were no casualties as a result of the attack.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“This is not a military target, but a factory that has been operating since the 1990s, producing products from world-renowned brands, employing Ukrainians, and contributing to our and the American economy,” Sybiha noted. He emphasized that the factory is one of the first major investments in Ukraine’s independent economy.<\/p>\n

The company produces products of such brands as Korona<\/span><\/span> , Toblerone<\/span><\/span> , Milka<\/span><\/span> , Oreo<\/span><\/span> , Barney<\/span><\/span> , Dirol<\/span><\/span> , Tuk<\/span><\/span> , Lux<\/span><\/span> , Jacobs<\/span><\/span> and Carte Noire<\/span><\/span> .<\/p>\n
