Despite resuscitation measures, the child died 2 hours later.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/dnipr_gp_gov_ua\/7430\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p> Doctors diagnosed the child with an intracranial hematoma, closed head injury, cerebral coma, and bodily injuries.<\/p>\n<p> According to the investigation, when the child was delivered, the 23-year-old stepmother explained that the girl had allegedly fallen on the street that day. Later, the woman admitted that she had become angry because the child had taken her cosmetics, hit her, after which the girl fell and hit the floor. After that, the child&#8217;s condition immediately worsened.<\/p>\n<p> The child&#8217;s father was at work at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n<p> The woman was detained and informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine &#8211; intentional grievous bodily harm, which caused the death of the victim.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, numerous injuries of varying degrees of antiquity were found on the child&#8217;s body. The facts of possible torture by relatives are being checked. Criminal proceedings have also been initiated under Article 166 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for malicious failure to fulfill duties to care for a child.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;The specified criminal proceedings are under control, all actions will be given a legal assessment. A child who was supposed to live and grow up in love and safety became a victim of cruelty,&#8221; said Ruslan Pashayev, head of the Nikopol District Prosecutor&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p> At the request of the head of the Nikopol District Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, the court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention without setting bail.<\/p>\n<p> Recall that in Kharkiv, law enforcement officers reported <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/u-kharkovi-machukha-do-smerti-pobyla-tryrichnoho-khlopchyka\/\">a 40-year-old woman suspected of beating a three-year-old boy to death<\/a> .
