Russian occupation forces have likely chosen new targets for air strikes in Ukraine, shifting the priority away from energy facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, during the attack on the night of February 22, the epicenter of the strikes was logistics, including the railway, and water supply infrastructure in cities.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of shelling of Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, and Odessa regions, railway infrastructure was damaged – at least two locomotives were damaged.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe shift in Russian goals comes after Russian strikes aimed at destroying Ukraine\u2019s power grid in the middle of winter, although Russian forces will likely continue efforts to further destroy energy infrastructure,\u201d analysts suggested.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Russian military is targeting civilian railway infrastructure<\/a> , focusing its attacks on the northern regions – Chernihiv and Sumy regions.<\/p>\n
