In one of the districts of Kyiv, a 19-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl burned three Tesla cars to order.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

“Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the Svyatoshyn District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv, suspicion was reported to a 19-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl who burned 3 Tesla cars in the Svyatoshyn district of Kyiv on order,” the post says.<\/p>\n

The investigation established that in the Telegram channel, where they offer part-time work, the guy was initially offered to take photos of premium cars for 800-1000 hryvnias and send the photos to the customer. The latter was primarily interested in Mercedes, BMW, and Tesla cars.<\/p>\n

Later, the boy and girl were offered to set fire to cars, promising to pay $2,000 for each car. The objects of the crime were Tesla cars parked near houses in the Svyatoshynskyi district.<\/p>\n

The customer argued the need to destroy the expensive cars by saying that they were purchased with money obtained fraudulently. The arson itself had to be filmed.<\/p>\n

Using a flammable substance, the guy set cars on fire, and the girl filmed it on her phone. At the same time, the customer demanded that the video be of high quality. In the end, the guy was transferred 500 USDT to his crypto wallet for one burned car.<\/p>\n

The suspects were detained, their actions were qualified under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely as intentional damage to another’s property committed by arson.<\/p>\n

The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of imprisonment for a term of three to ten years.<\/p>\n
