Spanish law enforcement officers have detained a suspect in the murder of Andriy Portnov, an advisor to fugitive former president Yanukovych.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> “European Truth”.<\/span><\/p>\n

The perpetrator was probably detained in the German city, where officers from the Madrid Police Headquarters arrived.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spanish police officers worked together with the special operations group of the German Federal Criminal Police Office.<\/span><\/p>\n

European warrants were issued for the suspect’s arrest and searches of his home.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the Spanish police emphasized, an investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of Portnov’s murder.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recall that on May 21, 2025, former advisor to Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, Andriy Portnov, was shot dead near Madrid.<\/a><\/p>\n

It is worth noting that a few days before the murder, Andriy Portnov was seen in Kyiv on Bankova Street<\/a> accompanied by a deputy from the Servant of the People party.<\/p>\n

As is known, Ukrainian law enforcement officers have also opened criminal proceedings<\/a> into the murder of Portnov in Spain.<\/p>\n
