On Thursday, February 26, Polish and allied aircraft took to the air due to the massive Russian shelling of Ukrainian regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> the Operational Command of the Armed Forces.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, Poland deployed fighter jets and an early warning radar aircraft. In addition, ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems were prepared.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the command explained, the actions are preventive in nature. They are aimed at protecting airspace, especially in regions where there is the greatest risk of threats.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The Operational Command of the Armed Forces is monitoring the current situation, and the forces and means subordinate to it remain ready for immediate response,” the message says.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on February 26,<\/span> the Air Defense Forces neutralized two Russian Zircons, four ballistic missiles<\/span><\/a> , 24 cruise missiles, two Kh-69 missiles, and 374 drones.<\/span><\/p>\n

As is known,<\/span> the Russian occupation troops massively attacked Ukrainian cities<\/span><\/a> . Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Zaporizhia came under attack.<\/span><\/p>\n
