Rozenko noted that even in the rear areas, in particular on the routes to Western Ukraine, the pavement collapsed immediately after the end of winter.<\/p>\n<p> In his opinion, a group of people close to the government has emerged in Ukraine who have made a fortune on infrastructure projects, and now these same companies are receiving funds to repair their own shortcomings. Rozenko called this approach a transition from large-scale construction to the stage of &#8220;large-scale pit digging&#8221; at state expense.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday, February 26, <a href=\"https:\/\/itd.rada.gov.ua\/billinfo\/Bills\/Card\/59428\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">failed<\/a> to ratify an agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank, which would have allowed it to receive 134 million euros for road repairs. 225 people&#8217;s deputies voted for the relevant bill, one vote short of ratification.<\/p>\n<p> Meanwhile, the head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration, Serhiy Sukhomlyn, said that for two years in a row the state <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/nemaie-hroshey-chomu-tsoho-roku-v-ukraini-ne-bude-kapitalnykh-remontiv-dorih\/\">has not allocated funds for major road repairs<\/a> , so currently road repairs consist of milling and patching potholes.
