In Lviv, a man pepper-sprayed a serviceman of the Central Criminal Investigation Department and two police officers. He faces 3 to 5 years of restriction of liberty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Communications Group of the Lviv OTCC and SP.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on February 26 at around 08:15. The military, together with the police, stopped two men to check their military registration documents.<\/p>\n

“In response to a completely legitimate demand, one of the citizens took out a pepper spray and used it against a serviceman and two police officers,” the CCC noted.<\/p>\n

All three suffered eye and respiratory irritation and were taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n

“Illegal actions against military personnel and law enforcement officers will not go unpunished,” the recruiting center emphasized.<\/p>\n

It was later revealed that the men were military registration violators. One of them was taken to the CCC, passed a military medical examination, and was found fit for service.<\/p>\n

The attacker has already been declared a suspect.<\/p>\n

It should be added that citizens were once again urged to abide by the law and remember that “any aggression against representatives of the Defense Forces is a criminal offense.”<\/p>\n
