On the afternoon of February 27, a missile alert was simultaneously declared in at least 13 regions of Russia, most of which do not border Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Warnings of a possible missile attack were issued by the authorities of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chuvashia, Udmurtia, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Penza, Saratov, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Rostov and Kursk regions, as well as the Perm region.<\/p>\n

In at least eight of these regions, a missile alert was declared for the first time since the start of the full-scale war.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Most of the territories where warnings were issued are located deep in the Russian Federation and do not belong to the regions bordering Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As previously reported, a series of explosions rocked temporarily occupied Luhansk on February 27.<\/a> An oil depot in the city caught fire, and thick black smoke rose over the area.<\/p>\n
