The authorities are preparing a raider attack on the EuroSolidarity party office, Iryna Gerashchenko, co-chair of the faction in the Verkhovna Rada, announced this at a briefing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAs European Solidarity has learned for certain, the authorities are preparing a new provocation against our political team. Let me remind you that exactly a year ago, Zelensky imposed sanctions against Poroshenko. For a year, no one has explained the reason, the basis, except for political hatred of their main opponent. One of the goals of these sanctions was then the desire to ban the European Solidarity party. After a loud political scandal, it failed, but the authorities are not stopping,\u201d Gerashchenko is convinced.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe next step is an attempt to evict us from the office, from our space, which over the years has become more than a party office,\u201d Gerashchenko noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to her, the authorities came up with the idea of evicting the party despite the fact that the rent for the premises was paid three months in advance and there was a lease agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut who cares about this in a country where Bankova still runs the courts via telephone right? According to our information, a muppet show with \u201cpluses\u201d, positive bloggers, is planned here. \u201cEuropean Solidarity\u201d is publicly and officially addressing the Minister of Internal Affairs Klymenko. Obviously, the police today in a warring country have a lot of work to do. We have great respect for the activities that the Ministry of Internal Affairs actually does in matters of population protection, evacuation and other very difficult things. Our rescue service also belongs to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We urge you not to allow the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be politicized,\u201d the MP said.<\/span><\/p>\n

She recalled that this was already the case during Yanukovych’s time, when the ministry was used as a “bludgeon against the opposition, when the offices” of opposition parties were also a nightmare.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gerashchenko also noted that the authorities have no questions about the OPZH: \u201cThey are living, they are thriving. The leaders of the \u201cParty of Regions\u201d, on the contrary, receive new preferences, new lands in Transcarpathia and so on. There are no questions, for example, about the office of the \u201cServant of the People\u201d party. They dug in at Yanukovych\u2019s helipad, a building in the center of Kyiv, on the slopes of the Dnieper, which was built illegally, without any permission. But it is close to Mindich\u2019s office. It was very convenient to \u201cconduct consultations\u201d. There are no questions about the \u201cServant of the People\u201d office, the OPZH office, there are only questions about \u201cEuropean Solidarity\u201d, \u2013 Gerashchenko ironically said.<\/span><\/p>\n

The EU warned: an attempt to evict the largest opposition force, which is a member of the European People’s Party (EPP) family, is a shot at Ukraine’s future in the European Union. This will be the final destruction of trust, starting with attacks on anti-corruption bodies, independent media, opposition politicians, public activists, and the military.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We want to warn you right away: our team will not allow this process to be politicized. For us, this is not just an office, we are here on absolutely legal grounds,” the deputy added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gerashchenko showed documents, including payments for all items paid for rent and a new lease agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur team will regard any attempts to organize a mask show here as a political action aimed at putting pressure on the opposition and the start of an election campaign by the authorities, which follows completely the patterns of Yanukovych\u2019s party,\u201d she believes.<\/span><\/p>\n

In turn, MP Viktoriya Siumar added that a hub for large-scale assistance to military and civilians has been operating in the Eurosolidarity party office since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.<\/span><\/p>\n

As is known, the assistance provided by Poroshenko’s team to the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades has already exceeded 8 billion hryvnias.<\/span><\/p>\n

Military equipment is being transferred daily, which is an aid to the Poroshenko Foundation, \u201cCommunity Affairs,\u201d to various military brigades.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you see all these flags in our office, when you see all these decorations and awards, it is truly gratitude from the military, who today are simply left very often alone with the war because the state cannot adequately provide for them. And after 4 years of full-scale invasion, it is volunteers and foundations who are forced to do this. This was our decision from the first day of the full-scale war, we continue this activity now,\u201d Syumar assured.<\/span><\/p>\n

As she notes, there are a lot of humanitarian programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou see here behind us gas burners that are being given to Kyiv residents who are left without heat in their apartments and cannot even cook food for people with disabilities or small children. Many of our local deputies are engaged in helping such people who do not receive appropriate assistance from the state,\u201d she emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Siumar, the attack is perceived as an obstacle to helping the army, volunteer work, and political activity \u2014 this includes the education of young people, and the protection of local self-government, the rights of Ukrainian teachers, doctors, and IDPs.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe already have international meetings planned for tomorrow with ambassadors of the European Union countries. Training courses for Ukrainian youth are planned for tomorrow. Therefore, this will be a crossing of any red lines. If we, the party that chose the support of our Armed Forces 4 years ago, are put in the way, it means that the authorities finally want to purge the opposition and the country of any healthy alternative,\u201d Siumar warned.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe constantly talk about unity. We understand that Ukraine can survive such a terrible war only by uniting all healthy forces. And if today we start this war inside the country, if forceful raids of party offices begin, only the enemies will rejoice. Don’t create these pictures for Russian television. Let national unity and the desire for our joint Ukrainian victory, as well as common sense, finally win,\u201d she summed up.<\/span><\/p>\n
