Former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak<\/span><\/span> became the chairman of the Committee of the National Bar Association on the Protection of Victims of Armed Aggression against Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that four new sectoral committees have begun work at the UNBA. One of them will deal with issues of protection of persons who suffered as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as compensation mechanisms and legal support for European integration processes in the field of state restoration. It is headed by Andriy Yermak.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In addition, three more committees have been created: on legal support and protection of rights in the field of mental health, on oil, gas and subsoil use, and on mediation.<\/p>\n

The UNBA clarified that members of the committee councils, including their heads, will work on a volunteer basis.<\/p>\n

As reported<\/a> by the head of the board of the ZMINA Human Rights Center, Tetyana Pechonchyk, the NAAU is headed by a former associate of Viktor Medvedchuk.<\/p>\n

“Shevchuk is the spokesperson for the National Bar Association of Ukraine, and Yermak is the chairman of the committee. And at the head is the same ex-comrade of Medvedchuk Izovitova. This is all you need to know about the current state of the Ukrainian bar,” she noted. <\/p>\n

As previously reported, on the morning of November 28, NABU detectives, together with SAPO prosecutors, conducted investigative actions in the government quarter<\/a> , where Andriy Yermak’s office is located. Subsequently, the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak,<\/a> submitted a resignation letter.<\/p>\n
