Today, March 3, a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council was held, at which the resilience plan for Ukrainian regions and cities was discussed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced<\/span><\/a> by the head of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere was one issue on the agenda \u2014 the Comprehensive Resilience Plan for Regions and Individual Cities. But in essence, this is an issue for the entire country,\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

Umerov said that Ukraine is preparing for the autumn-winter period of 2026\/2027 in conditions of war – threats to the energy system and critical infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cToday, each region and community presented their solutions regarding the protection of facilities, the development of distributed generation, alternative power supply, and decentralization of heat supply,\u201d said Umyerov.<\/span><\/p>\n

In turn, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy<\/span> informed<\/span><\/a> that the meeting managed to approve resilience plans for all Ukrainian regions and regional cities, except Kyiv. According to him, the capitals were given additional time to prepare substantive documents.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cKyiv was not ready today \u2013 just like it was for this winter. We need to have time to prepare and complete every task before the next one,\u201d the head of state believes.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that Ukrainian cities should prepare for different scenarios for next winter.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, due to one of the attacks by Russian troops on the energy infrastructure of Kyiv, the Darnytsia CHP temporarily stopped operating<\/a> .<\/p>\n

As is known,1,126 houses in Kyiv will not receive centralized heating until the end of the current heating season<\/a> due to serious damage to the energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n

By the way, the need for restoration and modernization of the energy sector for the next ten years is $90.6 billion<\/a> . Compared to the previous estimate, this amount has increased by 34%.<\/p>\n
