As of the end of 2025, the Russian military had executed 337 Ukrainian prisoners of war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine , Dmytro Lubinets<\/span><\/span> .<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, according to United Nations<\/span><\/span> data, more than 95% of Ukrainian prisoners of war are subjected to systematic torture. The Ombudsman emphasized that such actions bear the hallmarks of a deliberate policy.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Russia has turned torture into state policy and is using it as a weapon,” Lubinets said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He called on the international community to increase pressure on Russia, ensure full documentation of each crime, and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.<\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported that Denis Holub, a Ukrainian prisoner of war and fighter in the Azov Regiment, was sentenced to 20 years in a maximum-security penal colony.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General, Ruslan Kravchenko, announced that the court sentenced a Russian soldier involved in the execution of members of the Defense Forces.<\/a> <\/p>\n
