Today, March 3, the Israeli military announced the destruction of an Iranian nuclear facility located on the outskirts of Tehran.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by The Times of Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

An Israel Defense Forces spokeswoman said the Minzadeh facility was located partially underground, where a group of nuclear scientists allegedly worked secretly to develop components needed for nuclear weapons.<\/span><\/p>\n

As noted, after the 12-day war in June 2025, Iran did not cease its “military nuclear activities.” However, to protect the facilities, infrastructure began to be moved underground.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the IDF managed to establish a new location for the scientists’ work \u2014 and strike at the facility.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cUsing intelligence, the Israel Defense Forces monitored activities at this new location, depriving the Iranian regime of the ability to develop nuclear weapons,\u201d the report said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, Iran’s ambassador to the UN nuclear organization stated that a nuclear facility was hit during a military operation by the US and Israel<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Recall that on February 28, Israel launched preemptive strikes on Iran, as well as attacked Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon<\/a> . A state of emergency was declared throughout the country.<\/p>\n

It later emerged that the strikes on Iran were a joint operation between Israel and the US<\/a> . After that, US President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States had launched a military campaign in Iran<\/a> .<\/p>\n
