This will significantly strengthen Ukraine&#8217;s air defense, which is extremely important during the aggressor&#8217;s massive missile and drone attacks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/mod.gov.ua\/news\/francziya-posilyuye-nashe-nebo-ukrayina-ochikuye-dodatkovi-vinishhuvachi-mirage-2000\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported<\/a> by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Ukraine is expecting additional supplies of Mirage 2000-5 aircraft from France. This will significantly strengthen our state&#8217;s capabilities in the air, as they effectively destroy cruise missiles and strike drones, in particular Shahed,&#8221; the department noted.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Mirage 2000s<\/strong> are multi-role fighters equipped with digital avionics. They have modern radar systems and electronic warfare systems, which significantly increases their combat capabilities.<\/p>\n<p> It was previously reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/frantsiia-peredast-ukraini-dodatkovi-vynyshchuvachi-mirage\/\">Ukraine will receive 2 Mirage 2000 fighters from France as part of military assistance by the end of the first quarter of 2026 (by May 10)<\/a> .
