A National Guard soldier who was injured during a terrorist attack in Lviv on February 22 died in the hospital. He was 31 years old.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced by<\/span><\/a> Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Unfortunately, we have another loss after the terrorist attack in Lviv. A 31-year-old serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine, Yosyf Pavlynsky, died in the hospital,” the mayor noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the man was at the scene of the terrorist attack, pushing people away and securing a safe space. While he was working there, a second explosion occurred.<\/span><\/p>\n

The soldier is survived by his wife and young daughter.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of February 22, 2026 , two explosions were heard in the center of Lviv near the Magnus shopping center<\/a> . No airstrike was declared in the city or region.<\/p>\n

It is known that on February 23, the court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the terrorist attack<\/a> . The 33-year-old accused was taken into custody for at least 60 days. <\/p>\n
