Russian occupation forces attacked Kherson. A man died as a result of the shelling.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

“On March 5, 2026, at around 07:30, servicemen of the Russian army carried out artillery shelling of Kherson,” the post says.<\/p>\n

A 79-year-old man who was inside the house was killed as a result of the shelling.<\/p>\n

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated into the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).<\/p>\n

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, carry out the necessary investigative and procedural actions to record evidence and document war crimes committed by the Russian military.<\/p>\n

The Kherson OVA reported that there were injuries as a result of the strikes, and cars were also on fire.<\/p>\n

At around 10:30 a.m., Russian military drones attacked civilian transport in the center of Kherson. After the drone dropped explosives, three cars burned and another was damaged.<\/p>\n

It later became known that a 70-year-old woman was injured in the attack. She sought medical attention on her own and was diagnosed with a blast injury and concussion.<\/p>\n
