The fifth President of Ukraine, leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, met with the US Charg\u00e9 d’Affaires ai to Ukraine Julia Davis at the party office.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The parties discussed a wide range of issues – from the situation on the front and Ukraine’s urgent needs to effectively repel Russian aggression to further support from the United States, in particular in the field of defense assistance and sanctions policy.<\/p>\n

Special attention was paid to the progress of the negotiation process and the need to strengthen Ukraine’s positions both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table. <\/p>\n

Petro Poroshenko also expressed support for the United States in its efforts to counter the Iranian regime, which is one of Russia’s key allies in the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“The more effectively we can limit the ability of these regimes to coordinate their actions and reinforce each other, the stronger both regional and global security will be,” Poroshenko emphasized. <\/p>\n
