On the morning of March 6, drones attacked the Kubanskaya electrical substation near the city of Abinsk in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Video from the scene of the fire was published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+. <\/p>\n

Local authorities confirmed the drone attack but said the fire was allegedly caused by “falling debris.” An airstrike alert was issued for the region around 7 a.m. due to drone activity.<\/p>\n

According to the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory, after the attack, an electrical substation near the Berezhnoy farm in the Abinsk district caught fire. The 500 kV Kubanskaya substation is located there.<\/p>\n

Local residents are posting videos on social media showing thick black smoke rising from the facility.<\/p>\n

According to official information, the area of the fire was about 120 square meters. Rescuers and special services were involved in extinguishing it.<\/p>\n
