Ukrainian athletes won 4 medals that day \u2014 1 silver and 3 bronze.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This was reported by the Paralympics <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olympics.com\/en\/milano-cortina-2026\/paralympic-games\/results\/bth\/in\/m\/12.5kmin03031-----\/fnl-\/000100--\/race-result\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">press service<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> On the 2nd competition day at the Paralympics, 23 Ukrainian athletes competed in 2 sports: parabiathlon and parasnowboarding.<\/p>\n<p> In the parabiathlon, Taras Rad won <strong>a bronze medal<\/strong> in the individual race among men in the sitting class. In the same discipline, other Ukrainian athletes showed the following results:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> Oleksandr Aleksyk \u2014 9th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Vasyl Kravchuk \u2014 10th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Hryhoriy Shymko \u2014 11th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Pavlo Bal \u2014 15th place<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> In para-snowboarding in the men&#8217;s snowboard cross discipline in the SB-UL class, Vladyslav Khilchenko took 4th place in his heat and failed to advance to the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n<p> In the women&#8217;s individual parabiathlon standing race, Oleksandra Kononova won <strong>a bronze medal<\/strong> . Other Ukrainian women in this discipline took the following places:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> Lyudmila Lyashenko \u2014 4th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Iryna Bui \u2014 7th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Bohdana Konashuk \u2014 9th place<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> In the men&#8217;s parabiathlon standing class, Ukrainian athletes finished outside the medals. Athletes&#8217; results:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> Serhiy Romanyuk \u2014 5th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Seraphim Dragun \u2014 7th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Hryhoriy Vovchynskyi \u2014 10th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Dmytro Sereda \u2014 17th place<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> In the parabiathlon among women with visual impairments, Ukrainian athletes also did not win any awards. Their results:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> Oleksandra Danylenko \u2014 4th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Ilona Varkovets \u2014 8th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Oksana Shyshkova \u2014 9th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Romana Lobasheva \u2014 12th place<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> Ukraine won 2 more awards in the parabiathlon in the individual race among men with visual impairments. Maksym Murashkovskyi won <strong>the silver medal<\/strong> , and Dmytro Suyarko became <strong>the bronze medalist<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p> Also performing in this discipline were:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> Yaroslav Reshetynskyi \u2014 4th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Oleksandr Kazik \u2014 5th place<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Anatoly Kovalevsky \u2014 6th place<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> After 2 days of competition, Ukraine ranks <strong>2nd<\/strong> in the medal standings of the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games. The Ukrainian team has 10 medals: 3 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze.
