The soldiers of the Russian occupation army are preparing for a new offensive in the area of the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration in the Donetsk region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by the Group of Forces “East”.<\/span><\/p>\n

As noted, the situation on that section of the front remains difficult. In addition, the enemy plans to intensify offensive actions by drawing on its accumulated reserves.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Russians are seeking to completely occupy two cities in the agglomeration. These are Pokrovsk and Mirnograd. However, units of the Defense Forces hold certain positions on the northern outskirts of the settlements.<\/span><\/p>\n

The enemy is also trying to advance in the Udachny area and is attracting additional resources for this purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n

Separately, the Russian army is increasing the number of air strikes and the use of other firepower.<\/span><\/p>\n

In turn, Ukrainian defenders are countering the enemy’s intentions and deterring the occupiers’ attacks – they are conducting enhanced aerial reconnaissance, mining possible routes of advance, blocking logistics, and conducting search and strike operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Our drone units, artillery, and aviation are actively working. Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the enemy,” the military added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces have destroyed an artillery system, 12 units of special equipment, two units of motor vehicles, and also hit a tank, seven artillery systems, two units of motor vehicles, two units of special equipment, and 11 enemy shelters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead, the Russians carried out at least 22 assaults in the Pokrovsky direction. The invaders tried to advance in the areas of Shakhovo, Myrnograd, Rodynskyi, Hryshyn, Kotlyny, Molodetskyi and towards Shevchenko, Sergiyivka, and Novopidhorodny.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, in the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk region , the Russian army is preparing for a new offensive by bringing in reserves.<\/a><\/p>\n

As is known, the Russians are attacking dams in the Pokrovsky direction<\/a> in order to flood the defensive lines and positions of Ukrainian defenders, as well as to complicate logistics and make it impossible to quickly maneuver when repelling attacks.<\/p>\n
