Ukraine’s top-ranked tennis player, Elina Svitolina, has reached the round of 32<\/strong> of the WTA 1000 tournament in Indian Wells. On the night of March 10, she will face American tennis player Ashlyn Krueger.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The match is scheduled to begin around 01:00 AM on March 10. This will be the second meeting between these opponents. The first took place last year, when Svitolina won in three sets, 6-1, 6-7, 6-3.<\/p>\n

Experts believe Elina Svitolina, ranked 9th in the WTA rankings, still has the best chance of winning. Ashlyn Kruger is ranked only 82nd. Furthermore, the American has had a disastrous start to the season, losing five of her six matches.<\/p>\n

But it was at Indian Wells that Ashlyn Krueger achieved a comeback victory over Russia’s Lyudmila Samsonova (playing under a neutral flag). After losing the first set 3-6 and nearly losing the second 3-5, Krueger turned the tide in the second set (7-5) and then convincingly won the third and deciding set 6-2.<\/p>\n

So it won’t be an easy walk for Svetolina.<\/p>\n
