Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is concerned about the future supply of interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense system for Ukraine due to the high consumption of missiles in the Middle East.<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, according to the publication, at least a small package organized by Boris Pistorius is already on its way.<\/p>\n

“Defense Minister Boris Pistorius managed to obtain about 30 PAC-3 missiles from several European partners,” the material says.<\/p>\n

Along with missiles from the Bundeswehr arsenals, about 35 interceptor missiles are to be delivered to Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The German Federal Ministry of Defense confirmed the planned delivery of the new package in response to a request from the publication. According to the ministry, it was possible to convince European partners to deliver additional PAC-3 missiles. For security reasons, the spokesman declined to specify the exact size of the new package or when it is planned to be delivered to Ukraine.<\/p>\n

At a meeting of Ukrainian supporters ahead of the Munich Security Conference, Pistorius made a highly unusual offer. He suggested to partner countries that Germany would provide Ukraine with five PAC-3 missiles from its Bundeswehr arsenals if other countries supplied Ukraine with a total of 30 additional missiles. Several countries, including the Netherlands, pledged to supply the missiles.<\/p>\n

Recall, Germany previously announced a shortage of air defense missiles<\/a> for further transfer to Ukraine and called on other European countries to be more actively involved in supplies.<\/p>\n

As reported, the head of the communications department of the Air Force Command, Yuriy Igrat, said that Ukraine lacks missiles for air defense systems, so sometimes some complexes are empty.<\/a><\/p>\n
