Six<\/span> children fell<\/span> through<\/span> ice<\/span> on<\/span> a pond<\/span> in<\/span> the Shevchenkivskyi<\/span> district<\/span> of<\/span> Kharkiv<\/span> .<\/span> Two<\/span> boys<\/span> died.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> is<\/span> reported by<\/span><\/a> the State Emergency Service<\/span> of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tragedy<\/span> occurred<\/span> on March<\/span> 12.<\/span> According<\/span> to<\/span> rescuers,<\/span> a local<\/span> resident<\/span> was able<\/span> to pull<\/span> four<\/span> children out of<\/span> the water<\/span> .<\/span><\/p>\n

Two<\/span> more<\/span> boys –<\/span> 17<\/span> and<\/span> 10<\/span> years old –<\/span> died.<\/span> Their<\/span> bodies<\/span> were brought<\/span> to<\/span> shore<\/span> by divers<\/span> of the State Emergency Service.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rescuers<\/span> and<\/span> psychologists<\/span> from the service worked<\/span> at<\/span> the<\/span> scene<\/span> ,<\/span> providing<\/span> assistance<\/span> to<\/span> the families<\/span> of the deceased<\/span> children.<\/span> <\/p>\n

The<\/span> State Emergency Service<\/span> urged<\/span> parents<\/span> not<\/span> to<\/span> leave<\/span> children<\/span> unattended<\/span> near<\/span> bodies of water,<\/span> especially<\/span> in the spring,<\/span> when<\/span> the ice<\/span> becomes<\/span> thin<\/span> and<\/span> dangerous.<\/span><\/p>\n
