I don’t know what’s going through Zelenskyy’s mind and that of his government officials who decided to give out 1,500 hryvnias for gasoline and diesel to those who want it? My colleague Zheleznyak aptly called this program eBachok. I would say \u2013 eBak!<\/p>\n

Yes, prices are becoming painful for citizens, difficult for defense, and almost unaffordable for farmers. However, there is a way out!<\/p>\n

The increase in fuel prices could be offset by a temporary reduction in VAT on imported fuel to 7% (as was done in 2022) or excise duty by the calculated amount for each type (gasoline – by 31 euros, diesel – by 28 euros, liquefied gas – by 7 euros).<\/p>\n

The budget would not lose money with such indicators and the price of fuel would return to the previous level! Just bingo! And giving away 1,500 hryvnias for gas will lead to insane budget expenses of 10 to 15 billion hryvnias! And this despite the fact that the hole in the budget is already the size of Hoverla.<\/p>\n\t\t
