The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of 8 a.m. on March 16, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their position and advance deep into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment on various sections of the front. In total , 167 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.<\/strong> Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck two areas of concentration of manpower and three other important objects of the occupiers.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 101 air strikes, dropped 287 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,122 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,525 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 155 from multiple rocket launchers.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivka, Havrylivka, Prosyana, Kolomiytsi, Pokrovske, Orly, Velykymykhaylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Charivne, Lyubitske, Hulyaypilske, Kopany, Myrne, Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Novoselivka, Barvinivka, Orikhiv, Veselyanka in the Zaporizhia region; Mykilske, Lviv in the Kherson region.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions last day, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy assaults, the enemy launched two air strikes using four aerial bombs, and carried out 99 shelling attacks, two of which involved the use of MLRS.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozan<\/strong> direction, the enemy twice stormed the positions of our units towards the settlement of Vilcha.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction, the aggressor attacked four times in the direction of the settlements of Kurylivka, Novoosinove, and Hlushkivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked six times. He tried to wedge his way into our defenses towards the settlements of Dibrova, Lyman, and Drobysheve.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped 13 attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of the settlements of Yampil, Zakitne, Platonovka and in the directions of the settlements of Ozerne, Riznykivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders in the Stupochok area three times.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 23 attacks in the direction of Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Novopavlivka and in the area of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Berestok, and Rusyn Yar.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 36 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vilne, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Toretske, Bilytske, Novye Shakhove and in the areas of the settlements of Zatyshok, Nykanorivka, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Molodetske, Filiya.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked 12 times in the areas of the settlements of Zeleny Gay, Oleksandrivkagrad, Kalynivske, Berezove, Ternove, Pershotravneve, Novomykolaivka, Zlagoda and in the direction of Verbovye.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, there were 20 attacks by the invaders in the Hulyaipil area and towards Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Svyatopetrivka, Olenokostyantynivka, and Charivne.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, there was one clash with the enemy in the Pavlovka area.<\/p>\n

No enemy offensive actions were recorded in the Dnieper<\/strong> direction.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, putting up effective resistance on all sections of the front.<\/p>\n

It is worth adding that the total losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 760 people.<\/a> The enemy also lost two armored combat vehicles, 19 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, an air defense system, 1,883 unmanned aerial vehicles, one boat (the result of previous hits has been confirmed), 111 units of automotive equipment, two units of special equipment, and two operational-tactical missile systems (the result of previous hits has been confirmed).<\/p>\n
