The United States has removed from its sanctions list some individuals and companies that acted in favor of Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> is stated<\/span><\/a> on the website of the Foreign Assets Control Department of the Ministry of Finance.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, restrictions were lifted on Yevgenia Tyurikova (aka Yevgenia Dyatkova or Yevgenia Smirnova), who was born in Sevastopol. She worked in a division of the Russian Sberbank. The US imposed sanctions on her in February 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

Boris Vorontsov, an official of a Russian state corporation, was also removed from the list. He was placed under restrictions in November 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the department reported the removal of four companies. Three of them are registered in Turkey, and another one is in the United Arab Emirates.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noted that such a US decision will reduce the risk of secondary sanctions and will also likely restore financial transactions with American companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, the US eased sanctions for 30 days and allowed the purchase of Russian oil<\/a> and petroleum products, which are already transported by sea.<\/p>\n
